On Friday, February 3, the ICO Board of Trustees voted unanimously to welcome Nana Owusu, OD ’08, to the Board. Dr. Owusu hails from Winnipeg, Canada. Since graduating, he has expanded his practice at Prairie Eye Care to three locations, and offers scholarships to inner city students.
Dr. Owusu is deeply connected to ICO. He participates in our Alumni Council, and was recently featured in ICO Matters. In addition to optometry, Dr. Owusu is passionate about family, travel, football, coaching, and his prized collection of Air Jordan shoes. We are honored to have him serving the Illinois College of Optometry in this capacity.
