Why ICO?

As much as I have enjoyed full-time direct patient care over the past 10 years, I’m ready to embrace more of my natural creative interests. My goal is to bring more diverse young, active, and influential minds into the profession of optometry, and ensure that new graduates are mentally equipped for the complexities of patient care and life after graduation.

Biography

I have been practicing optometry since 2011. Emergency eye care is my favorite mode of practice.  The more complex, the better. I have a gift of making meaningful connections with patients; and I have learned that resolving a one’s sudden eye care needs often results in an even stronger doctor-patient relationship.

I am new to the Chicago area and I look forward to working with staff, faculty, and students here at ICO.  As a runner, I also look forward to all the scenic areas to catch a few miles.
