Why ICO?

ICO provides excellence in both didactic and clinical education that is second to none. The faculty here takes pride and satisfaction in knowing they are helping to educate the next generation of eyecare providers. Our urban location provides diversity in patient encounters that encompasses routine refractive cases to complex diseases.

Biography

Dr. Chaglasian is a graduate of the State University of New York College of Optometry. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. After a decade in private practice, she became a full time faculty member at the Illinois College of Optometry, where she is an Associate Professor supervising clinical care in the Illinois Eye Institute. She has served as Coordinator of the Cornea/Contact Lens Residency program and the Assistant Dean for Community Based Education and International Programs. In May of 2021 she was appointed Associate Dean for Faculty. She lectures on the topics of refractive surgery and anterior segment disease.
