ICO’s Commencement ceremony is steeped in traditions, some reaching as far back as the middle ages. In line with academic customs, the presidential medallion incorporates the College’s seal, our predecessor institution’s emblems, and the names of each president. The medallion is worn on official occasions with academic regalia and symbolizes the authority of the high office of college president.
