A group of ICO students from the Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH) club traveled to Grenada in the Caribbean this past summer. They partnered with Great Shape! Inc. iCare Project to deliver essential eye care services to local communities. During their time in Grenville, Grenada, the team provided care to an impressive 1,915 patients.
The trip was made possible through the leadership and coordination of Tracy Matchinski, OD ’95 and SVOSH President Cole Demarest ’26. They not only provided a rewarding experience for all involved but allowed our students to make a tangible difference to a community in need.
