It’s been a busy year at ICO, but that hasn’t stopped our students from volunteering to give back to those in need throughout the Chicagoland community! 

Students and faculty have served at multiple eye care events over the last few months for a variety of non-profits including Stand Down for Homeless Veterans, Foundation Fighting Blindness, the Sikh Religious Society, and more recently at Apna Gar, a local non-profit dedicated to empowering victims of cultural and domestic abuse. Participants were provided with screenings, full eye exams and even eyeglasses when appropriate. 

We’ve loved seeing so many students use what they’ve learned at ICO to provide quality eye health care to those who may not otherwise be able to receive it.  Great job, everyone.
