On January 1, 2025, Jennifer Harthan, OD ’06, will assume the role of Executive Director of GPLI. She will be the first new director since 1988, when Ed Bennett, OD, took on the position.

 

As demonstrated by this appointment, Dr. Harthan continues to be recognized well beyond her role as Chief of the Cornea and Contact Lens Center at ICO. From receiving diplomate status in 2023 to now being named the GPLI Executive Director, her career continues to flourish. She is an essential part of our team, and we are so proud to have witnessed her growth into a world-class leader in optometry.
