We are happy to announce that two of ICO’s favorites received recognition during the last IOA meeting. Janice McMahon, OD has been named the 2024 IOA Optometrist of the Year, and Catherine Liu ’25 was recognized as the IOA Student of the Year.

 

Dr. McMahon has been a member of the ICO faculty for 25 years. She is an important part of our community as an instructor, specializing in clinical skills, ocular emergencies, ophthalmic optics, and injections. Catherine, now close to graduation, has served as a trustee for the American Optometric Student Association. She has also helped many students as a TA.
