ICO again took Academy by storm this year! 43 research posters were presented (13 residents and 14 students were involved with these posters). We held four CE lectures and one workshop, and two papers were presented.

Not only that, many of our faculty, former residents and ICO alums received a fellowship this year. Congratulations to our faculty members, Drs. Stephanie Adams, Catherine Niermann, Patricia Salazar, and William Skoog. Congrats to our former residents, Drs. Melissa Caceres, Kelly Cohen,Thomas Collins, Randi-Jo Francis, Nora Kuby, Alyssa Lancaster, Olivia Nichols, Alexandra Piper, Kelsey Trast, and Claire Skorseth and to our alums, including but not limited to, Drs. Nicholas Blasco, Jessica Chan, Kimberly Fazio, Benjamin Michalicek, Rabab Rafique, Aidan Stubbs, and Zachary Wallburg.

A very special congratulations to Sandra Block, OD ’81 who received the Henry Peters Memorial Award from the Academy’s Public Health and Environmental Vision Section.
